Welcome to Kindred: the Embraced 4! For those of you not familiar with the show, it was on in the late 80s-early 90s. As said in the description, this show was based upon a fantasy role playing game played mostly in the 80s. I found out about this because I later obtained a book based upon the game, called The Masquerade. This name is based upon the masks the vampire characters had to wear to keep from being exposed to the mortals. I've never played it. If anyone joining this group knows where I can obtain a copy of the game, please let me know. I have a few people in mind who might like playing it with me. One of them is my Significant Other, who is a big sweetie, but who definitely has a dark side, who enjoys frpgs and vampires. If you see my picture on my page, and wherever this discussion is published, that's the dark-haired guy in the funny hat sitting next to me. He is wearing his doctor's robes. He portrays the Royal Physician to the court of Mary Queen of Scots. I portray her herbwoman and midwife. I'm the one who will be delivering James VI of her in about a year.

For those of you who haven't seen the show on which this group is based, never fear. We will also discuss the other vampire shows and even the movies about vampires: Dark Shadows, both the soap and the later primetime series with Ben Cross, Forever Knight, and now Moonlight. If anyone knows the name of the series about vampires that was on either HBO or Showtime back a couple years ago please post the name of the show so that I can possibly get it on Netflix.
